My research and teaching interests are in macroeconomics, monetary policy, and economics pedagogy. I teach courses in the principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, money and banking, financial markets, and asymmetric information.
Before coming to California, I spent two years in Missoula, Montana where I was Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Montana. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where I wrote my dissertation under Michael K. Salemi.
